Christmas time is the tradiional time for playing carols in the local villages. In December 2000 for the first time in six years the band played round the villages of Gilcrux, Plumbland and Prospect. Over the years they have given many concerts, played in carnival parades, garden fetes, and church services, err, on the local radio and private funcions. Yes, they were out again playing around the villages at Christmas time in 2003, raising money for the upkeep of the instruments and a roof over their heads.
